Bruised left knee sends Guillen to DL

The good news on Carlos Guillen's left knee wasn't good enough to keep him off the disabled list. The Tigers placed their second baseman on the 15-day DL on Wednesday, retroactive to Tuesday, with a deep knee bruise.
