Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser returns to TV

Two years after an historic fundraising telecast and the start of a groundbreaking grassroots movement, Stand Up To Cancer will return to prime-time TV — and for the first time on MLB Network — on Sept. 10 with a star-studded appeal to build continuing public support and donations for cutting-edge cancer research.

Dodgers make Phoenix fundraiser a hit

Fourteen members of the Dodgers’ 40-man Major League roster, plus the top prospect in the Minor League system, showed up at a neighborhood recreation center Sunday night for a two-hour fundraising session for Ahwatukee Little League in suburban Phoenix.
